Define “Muslim” countries. Islam is a religion.
Over 40% of the people from Lebanon are Christians. So how can you accept those people but deny others who happen to practice a different religion. Syria and Jordan are much the same.

Victory in Afghanistan depends on training Muslims, working with Muslim allies, winning the hearts and minds of a Muslim population, and turning the Muslim enemy over to our side, while in a country with a Muslim government.
However the Republicans have been denouncing, insulting, and calling for the execution of all Muslims for the last two or three days, while at the same time insisting that we send 40,000 more troops to an area where they will be outnumbered about 100,000 to one.
I think that in the last few days enough the Republicans have done quite enough damage to US/Muslim relations.
They may well have done so much damage that our troops in Afghanistan will no longer be welcome, let alone safe.

We got plenty of Muslims living among us who have not done a thing. And so many of them studying in colleges professions that we may need like technicians and engineers, not to mention health professionals like doctors and dentists, is not going to be that easy. And we should not forget many more working as tailors, electricians and other service jobs. How are you going to replace them?
We should have closed the boarders after 9-11. Figure out that it is muslims that are the problem and vetted anyone from those countries to see if they have ties with terrorist. No one from Saudi Arabia should ever be allowed in the United States ever again.
In every major conflict in the world muslims are on one side, in many cases both sides. Were it not for muslims not getting along with their neighbors there could be peace in the world.

And anyway, people who are US-born can convert to Islam so this problem is very difficult to solve.
