I have a 19″ color lcd flat screen monitor in perfect condition, I just upgraded to a larger monitor and would like to use it for my granddaughters game that requires a tv.
Can A Flat Screen Lcd Monitor Be Converted To A Tv Or Used For A Computer Game?

This really all depends if there is a TV video input, if not you can run it as a tv through a computer, a lot of motherboards have the input built in but other wise you can buy video cards that allow you. If nothing else i think you are able to get a cord that matches the VGA or DVI cable input (preferable DVI) and the other end of the cord is a TV video input I’m not 100% sure in this but its worth jumping in on the local computer store to check it out.
Yes all around but how all depends on what connections your monitor has. If it only has a blue D-Sub connection, then it must be connect to a PC first. Then you can install a TV tuner, most of which also have a connection for composite, and component video. If it has DVI or HDMI you can use the above method or hook it to any HD cable box or HD terrestrial tuner with either DVI or HDMI. They use the same video signal so if one has HDMI and the other has DVI, you can simply get an HDMI to DVI cable or adapter. Some monitors come with component connections(Green, blue, and red) and this can simply be hooked to a cable box or HD terrestrial tuner.
Yes it can be. Also a TV can be used for a computer monitor. You will just need to buy the appropriate adapter to connect things to the monitor.
Most likely the LCD will not have a place to connect a cable line, but you can get around this by buying a cheap cable box or plugging the cable into a VCR and then the VCR into the monitor.
