Whats The Difference Between China And Japan?

I went to the mall last night, and the food looks the same. I went to the China Wok place to get fried rice, General Tsos, and Sesame Chicken. Took 15 minutes to get my order right.

    all that stuff you went to is americanized chinese and japanese foods n stuff. no one over there actually eats that stuff.
    its like asking whats the difference between America ans Mexico. So much is different

    Do you base all of your knowledge of foreign countries based on the food they serve at the mall?
    That being said, one sure distinction is Japan is an island, China is not.
